Buying a house, for beginners
Buying your first house can be confusing and stressful. This animation outlines the whole process, step-by-step, by telling the (fictional) story about a young couple buying their first house. Creating this project allowed me to gain experience with writing a script and recording voiceover. I consulted with a Realtor to make sure that my script was accurate, sketched out storyboards, created all of the illustrations, and conducted user testing. The friendly tone of voice, simple steps, and underlying music combine to make what can be a daunting process seem manageable.
This project was created for Writing for Multimedia at Carnegie Mellon University, and should be viewed with sound.
