Good design is simple, thoughtful, and caring.

I believe that designers should be concerned not just with function and beauty, but also with ethical considerations. During the past few years, I have been fortunate to work with many non-profit clients who are truly making the world a better place. I love design, and I love working with people who are passionate about what they do.

I also believe that designers can help solve some of the complex problems that are facing our world today. After working as a print designer for more than three years, I found myself wanting to explore how I can use design to impact my community, and the greater society in which I live. This desire has led me to pursue a Master of Design in Communication Planning and Information Design at Carnegie Mellon University. I will graduate in May 2011.
